Terms of Service

GradConnect AI is a workspace for graduate applications. You may use it if you can form a binding agreement where you live. You are responsible for what you do with your account and for keeping your login secure.

Your profile, documents, drafts, and notes belong to you. You grant GradConnect AI only the permission needed to run the service for you: to store your files, process them to produce matches and drafts, and send the messages you approve.

GradConnect AI drafts outreach; you send it. Every message is shown to you for review and is sent only after you approve that specific message, from your own connected mailbox, under your own name.

That makes the content your responsibility. Do not use GradConnect AI to send bulk unsolicited mail, to harass anyone, or to misrepresent your academic record. We limit follow-ups to two per professor for the same reason. Accounts used to spam academics will be closed.

Matches, match explanations, CV suggestions, Research Assistant answers, and outreach drafts are generated by software. They are grounded in your profile, your documents, and stored academic data, and the product shows you the evidence — but they can still be wrong or incomplete.

Check anything that matters before you rely on it, especially before sending it to a professor. GradConnect AI does not guarantee any admission, funding, reply, or outcome.

Free costs nothing. Starter and Premium are billed monthly in advance through Stripe; the current prices are on the pricing page. Your plan renews each month until you cancel.

You can cancel at any time from Settings. Cancelling stops future charges and you keep your paid features until the end of the period you have already paid for. We do not refund partial months by default; if something went genuinely wrong, contact us.

If we change prices, we will tell you before the change affects your next renewal.

Paid plans include generous daily allowances rather than unlimited use, because every AI request has a real cost. The allowances are published on the pricing page. We may contact you before restricting anything if your usage is far outside normal use.

GradConnect AI is a commercial beta. We work to keep it available, but we do not offer an uptime guarantee, and features may change as the product develops.

You can delete your account at any time from Settings, which ends this agreement and removes your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, that is used to harm others, or where we are legally required to. Where we reasonably can, we will explain why and give you a chance to respond.

To the extent the law allows, GradConnect AI is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
